Each person who works with product development or communications in your organisation has a certain image of your product’s user. Typically, these partly unconscious images vary from person to person, causing your organisation to not work together towards the same goal. Personas provide a common perspective of your product’s users in an easily absorbed format. It is easier to make design decisions when you know “does Alice need this functionality” or “on what does Bob base his buying decisions”.

Methodology and results

We gather information about your product’s current or potential users using, for example, user interviews, focus group interviews, user observation or online surveys. Based on this gathered information, we create the personas by combining pieces of information from several people. Each persona has an identity with hopes and needs that are fictional but based on the study results. In creating the personas, we take into account what they will be used for and we gather information emphasising what is relevant for your product branch.
