Dr. Duck

Dr Duck is an interactive blood sugar meter for children for measuring blood sugar from a small blood sample. Personal treatment programs can be programmed into the wrist or neck-worn meter, and the meter gives reminders and guidance in treating diabetes, as well as sends the measurements in real-time to a chosen mobile phone and a web-based measurement table for the treatment team.

Adage studied the Dr Duck concept with children and health care professionals and suggested improvements to the use and functionality of the device.
